The right to education and protection against child labour.

Topic 1 A:

Topic 1 B:

- Find a company in your area that uses or sells products from abroad.

H&M. This is a company that sells clothes for a very nice price and quality.

- Investigate how this company informs you about child labour as a consumer.

There are no signs of childlabour on the side of H&M, but there are some comments on H&M. For

example UNICEF. The article is about the connection between H&M and childlabour. In 2009, H&M launched program “All For Children”. This was a program in coorperation with UNICEF that supported the oppurtunity for education and Healthcare. They’ve done this in the countries where their manufacturers were. The (AFC) program intention was to get the children to school instead of working. This was

designed to help restricting the amount of working children’s.
